In a career spanning over 20 years, Gary has built an international reputation as a trader, writer and educator.

At only 18 years old, based in the City of London, Gary became the youngest ever trader at one of Japan’s largest Securities firms, trading a multi-million dollar Equity Warrant book. Gary quickly established himself as the most profitable trader in his department and successfully traded through the Japanese Stock Market Crash.

During a highly successful career in London, Gary developed a reputation as a profitable and innovative trader. At the age of 23 he was appointed Head of LIFFE Options for NatWest Markets and led them to become one of the top 3 firms in the market.

At ING Financial Markets Gary traded one of the largest Convertible Bond books of its kind in the World with roughly $1 billion of derivatives.

Gary moved to Australia in 2003 and he recognised that retail traders and investors were getting a raw deal from their educators and advisors. This has driven him to start Organic Financial Group in order to provide professional standard education and advice to the general public.

Gary is also in high demand as a writer. He writes for publications around the world including YourTradingEdge and Active Trader. In 2005, his book ‘Technical Analysis and the Active Trader’ was published by McGraw-Hill and has been critically acclaimed for exposing the flaws and limitations of technical analysis. The book has now been translated into Chinese and Korean.
